For European developer & RoHS

Postby Joda » Tue Dec 19, 2006 4:42 am

Hi, I have a question that concern all european professional developer.
There is a UE directive (called RoHS directive - 2003) that force all industrial electronic/informatic project to conform to it.
I would to know if CUBLOC products will be RoHS compliant in the next future.

If it isn't, I hope that Comfile corrects that soon.

For what it is worth, I have almost completed CE certification on a system that is built around a CT with the add-on board. We actually tested two systems running simultaneously and passed radiated emissions with ~6db of margin on the worst frequency. This was done in a 10m semi-anechoic chamber using a Shaffner X-Wing BiLog antenna and matching EMC receiver.

Fortuneately for me, for now, my specific industry is exempt from ROHS compliance. Our corporate HQ will require us to comply long before the standard changes.

Regards,

Vinny
