Here’s an experimental alarm system you can build using a CUBLOC
CB280, CUBLOC Study Board, CLCD420B, Keypad, Keypad Controller,
and some parts from Radio Shack and Home Depot.

Allied Safety has used a CUBLOC CB220 module and a graphic LCD
to create a proximity warning system for high voltages in industrial
environments.

• Allied Safety Engineering, LLC develops products to save lives.
• Their primary products are high voltage proximity warning devices
  and line contact warning devices. Proximity warning devices have
  been used successfully for decades to prevent heavy equipment
  from coming into contact with high voltage lines.
• ASE has developed advanced patented technology to provide
  the most advanced proximity warning devices in the industry.
• When a vehicle strikes a high voltage line, death most often
  occurs when personnel come into contact with the energized
  vehicle while in contact with the ground below the vehicle.

Here’s a cool fuzzy logic perm machine for salons over in Japan using
CUBLOC CB280 module and GHLCD graphic LCD from Comfile.

The CB280 uses Ladder Logic to control the complex fuzzy logic of
the perm machine hair dings (The things you roll your hair with).
This thing also has an XPORT module which allows the company to
analyze and fix customer’s problems over the internet on top of
updatable firmwares.

The company grew 10 times in size and moved their offices twice
due to massive growth of sales. They are now bigger than Comfile
Technology… :p

Robo3, a Korean robot company, made a robot based on the Segway
balancing structure.
The CuTOUCH CT1721 touchscreen controller is used as the brain.
